Job Description

As YouTube Channel Coordinator at Animaj, you're joining a mission to build Global Kids’ Franchises. Your role puts you at the heart of our digital-first strategy, with a clear goal: make our IPs targeting Preschoolers and Kids 6-9 global hits on the #1 platform for Kids and families, YouTube.

Your challenge? To merge creativity with strategic insights. You're guiding each YouTube IP's journey, using storytelling, data-driven decisions, and YouTube expertise to create brands children love and parents trust.

This role is more than expertise; it's about crafting an editorial and brand vision. With the help of the Director of YouTube, you will execute the content strategy and optimise each channel to best serve our audience. Every detail, from each video upload to the creation of compelling thumbnails, is a step towards making each content an integral part of children's daily lives.

Animaj’s YouTube Channel Coordinators are expected to become experts in our managed content and perform competitive analysis to gain an understanding of how we can improve and grow our channels.

Candidates will be expected to perform ongoing YouTube viewership analysis using multiple analytics tools in order to validate existing strategies and provide information to guide programming, marketing, and investment decisions going forward.

Based in Paris or London, you will be part of an international team, all united by a shared goal: to innovate, inspire, and empower children through the transformative power of content.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Execution: Assist the Director of YouTube in planning and executing an effective content strategy, optimising upload schedules and thematic playlists.

  • Channels Optimisation & Analytics: Implement advanced SEO strategies and analyse performance metrics to boost content impression, retention, average view duration time and watch time.

  • Creative Design: Create compelling visual content, including thumbnails and channel branding, to captivate our young audience.

  • Cross-Platform Integration: Ensure consistency in IP's branding and content across multiple digital platforms.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Preferred Experience

  • Up to 2 years in managing successful YouTube channels, preferably in Kids’ content.

  • Deep and current knowledge of the YouTube platform; knowledge of Content ID is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign & Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a bonus.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong skills in branding, typography, animation and design.

  • Exceptional attention to details with a keen eye for aesthetics.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to design and implement system/process improvements.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bilingual in English, proven experience working in a multinational environment.
